De Rust Campsite is located within Dinokeng Game Reserve offering a total of 43 stands, including 6 for long-term stays, all at budget-friendly prices. This campsite offers 36 grassed sites that can accommodate between 4 and 10 guests and 2 self-catering chalets. Situated on the banks of the Pienaar River in Dinokeng Game Reserve, approximately 35 km from Pretoria. Dinokeng is a well known Big 5 safari area about an hour north of Johannesburg. Ideal for guests wanting peaceful, untouched bushveld experience. Campsite is very clean and tidy, tap and power source at each site, almost all sites have shade and awesome view of river. Birdwatching amazing, about 50 species seen. Big 5 do come by campsite, there is no fence and you should be aware elephants and other game roam. Owner guarantees attentive service. Guests have access to communal swimming pool and laundry facilities. Part of Finfoot Conservancy and home to The Big 5. Self game drives, wildlife lodges nearby. The camping option brings one much closer to Africa and early settlers way of life. Very good for birdwatching, waterhole nearby.

Power: Each site has access to power supply, each stand includes 16 amp power supply, tap and power source at each site.
Water: Each site has access to water points, water points, braai water points, hot and cold water.
Ablutions: Three sites offer private ablution facilities, while other sites make use of shared ablution facilities, two communal ablution blocks with hot and cold water, electric razor outlets, private ablutions on selected stands.
Braai: Each site has access to braai facilities, each big stand has its own braai, braai area.
Campsites: 36 grassed sites accommodating 4-10 guests, 43 stands total, grassed, shaded, river view.
