Located at the foot of the Zuurberg Mountains in a magical forest along the Wit River, this rustic bush camp offers a peaceful escape completely outside the Big 5 area.

Location: Addo Elephant National Park, Eastern Cape. At foot of Zuurberg Mountains, on banks of Wit River. 25km from Addo Main Rest Camp.
Area: Not in Big 5 section of park. No large wildlife. Duiker, bushbuck, bushpig occur.
Accommodation: 4 canvas tents. Each tent has 2 single beds. Sleeps 8 guests total.
Power: No electricity. Solar-powered lights only.
Ablutions: Shared paraffin-powered shower and separate toilet.
Kitchen: Central thatched camp kitchen. Gas-powered fridge and gas stove. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils provided.
Braai: Lapa with firepit braai area.
Access: 25km gravel road from Addo Main Camp. High ground clearance vehicle required. 4×4 not necessary. Access includes crossing river bridge and 500m walk through forest to camp.
Check-in: At Addo Main Camp no later than 15:30. Camp check-in 14:00-17:00. Check-out 10:00.
Rules: No electricity in camp. Bring own torch. Arrive 2+ hours before sunset. No shop or restaurant. No firewood provided. Daily conservation fee payable at gate.
