Cumberland Nature Reserve is a 1100ha private reserve in the KZN Midlands, 12km from Wartburg. 4 bush campsites on the Mpushini River. Altitude 750m. No power at sites. Reserve has giraffe, zebra, kudu, wildebeest. No predators. Mountain biking and hiking trails. Campsites 300m+ apart in riverine bush. Gate locked after hours.

- Gate times: 07:00–18:00. No late arrivals. Code access after hours

- No predators in reserve. Giraffe, zebra, antelope only
- No cell signal at camps. Vodacom on koppie 1km away
- Malaria-free area
