“An isolated campsite 22km (50 minutes) from Graaff-Reinet . Surrounded by nature, birds and game. Situated in a valley among the mountains of the Camdeboo National Park. The rustic campsite has a sleeping deck which shelters a boma containing, a fireplace. There is an outside braai, cold shower and flush toilet. A place to relax. Completely isolated. A single campsite. Raised vehicle 2×4 or 4×4 required. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars.

Travel time to Graaff Reinet town is close to 1 hour

No camping equipment/ chairs/ mattresses etc provided

There is no electricity or cell-phone signal at the camp site.

Unprotected stairway not suitable for young children or those with impaired mobility

The campsite has drinkable water, a flush toilet and basic shower. The shower water can be heated by lighting the indoor fireplace. This results in a somewhat erratic and unpredictable heating system. Otherwise water is cold only.

Some firewood is provided, but the hot water fire is small so works best with the small logs bought in bags, which you would need to bring with you. Please let us know if you have any special requests or further questions.”
